More scrummy February bounty to play with! Crab-apples just stewing down to make jelly & maybe cheese or a fruit leather. Wild garlic/ramsons to lacto-ferment both the leaves and the flower buds & make pesto. And… happened upon some great-looking sea buckthorn today (in landlocked Leeds!) still in excellent condition, unlike most other bushes I’ve seen (which have berries that’re largely over or faded to nearly colourless). More tangy toffee I think, plus some buck-booze methinks… 🙂
