Partying with the pink! Not intentionally, just kinda worked out that way 🙂 It just so happened that things I picked and played with today had a pink hue… I finally jarred up my preserved sakura (cherry blossom) buds, and picked red clover heads (for tea, syrups and vinegar), vetch tips with shocking pink flowers (to have with dinner, taste like pea shoots), pink elderflowers from my gorgeous black elder tree (for cordial), and Japanese rose petals (for cordial, for now). I also put a second batch of blooms into a cherry blossom syrup I made this week, and also picked some herb robert flowers (pink too!) to decorate cheese and butter…!! Serious pinkness.
