Went for a bimble around somewhere in Leeds I know incredibly well & have combed every inch of this last 15 years, so I was amazed to find a new plant there! I’ve never found any of the Claytonia varieties in Leeds before, but this evening I spotted a small clump of what I believe will be Claytonia sibirica, pink purslane. Just goes to show there’s still always something new to surprise you in wild food foraging, even in the most familiar of places! 🙂
